Had a phone call from Gary today. He wanted to know if I got the $1000 he left in my letterbox several months ago. Yes, I did thanks Gary. He also dropped into the conversation, as an afterthought, that Sue, Trevor’s ex and Sandi’s mum, had died last month. I was shocked and reminded Gary that she was his children’s grandmother. He said, ‘oh yeah’. When I asked him what she had died of, he just said, ‘drugs’. I asked whether it was an accidental overdose or suicide. He said neither, she crashed her car into a tree.
I had a doctor’s appointment after work today to get my ears looked at (having trouble hearing lately) so I didn’t cycle to work. I think I’ll start that again next week. Anyway, the GP said that amongst other things I had a ton of wax in my ears, so he syringed them with warm water. Made me go all funny. Didn’t go to Pilates, owing to the medical procedure.
