Why does the till roll always run out when I go to pay for my groceries? I think it’s the same principle as the car lane I’m in always goes slower than the one next to me, (until I change lanes.) I had to wait ages at the checkout in IGA tonight, clutching my litre of non-fat milk, while the checkout chick tried to fit a new roll so that she could print a receipt I didn’t want.
Christopher face-timed me this evening, and I think I wasted most of our precious conversation telling him about my recent IGA experience. I could tell by the look on his face he wasn’t fully invested in my story. Also, I think Olivia may have been fiddling with him out of camera view while I was talking to him, as he kept smiling inanely and giggling at inappropriate times. I hope he isn’t on drugs. I think I’m losing my little boy. It’s much better when he’s here.
