Tuesday 8 September

Agnes and I popped down to the local tonight after Pilates. We agreed we’d earned it. After we’d got our drinks and seated ourselves, Agnes said that at the start of COVID a big bouncer man asked her to see her proof of vaccination before she could enter a pub, so she rolled up her sleeve to show him where she’d had her booster, which I thought was quite funny. She said he said that only works if you’ve had it in your arse, which, on the other hand, I thought was a bit crude.

Agnes said are we still supposed to be trying to flatten the curve. I said I thought we were trying to keep ahead of it. Then we agreed it would be difficult to flatten it if we were ahead of it. What was the government talking about? Talk about mixed messages.
