I took the day off work today and took Agnes shopping for some work clothes. She really loved it. I had to keep twisting her arm to let me spend money on her. I said she can pay me back with her wages. When we got home, she had a shower and washed her hair, then I helped her do her makeup, colour her hair and manicure her nails, and then she tried on her work clothes. She looked amazing — a bit different to when she lived at the beach. She couldn’t thank me enough or get the smile off her face. I was so pleased for her.
