Thursday 17 September

Stuart announced at work today that his daughter, Natalie, had become engaged. I asked Stuart if they were engaged or planning to get engaged, but he didn’t answer me. I think we were all supposed to be thrilled for dear Natalie. She’s OK, I suppose, but a bit too ‘Happy Birthday Mr President’ for me. I’m sure she’s going to make her fella happy for at least a couple of months. Stuart suggested that I organise a collection for a card and a present for her, but I told him I was too busy, so he’d have to get someone else to do it.

Felt good. Maybe I’m progressing, thanks Susan. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I couldn’t have done that six months ago. Just a little test.
